Thanks to the vision of program co-ordinator Crystal McNerny, the hard work of the many community volunteers and the efforts of Food for Life's Outreach Manager Karen Bonham, Applemead is not your typical Outreach Program. In addition to helping feed 32 families that work together in a supportive environment, the Applemead families have developed their own community garden.
