Every Thursday at 5:00 pm St. Luke’s Anglican Palermo located at 3114 Dundas St W in Oakville opens their doors for the weekly Food for Life supported program. Neighbours gather in the church and are given numbers while volunteers set up the program. The volunteers will then call a number and that neighbour will have their turn. Neighbours are welcome to any item on the table, free of cost. Volunteers will be there to assist you with any questions and help distribute food.
The food is displayed on tables around the room. Neighbours can choose which items they would like. Volunteers will be there to assist you.
How the Program Runs
As each neighbour arrives they are given a number. When the program starts a volunteer will pull a number and the person with the corresponding number will have their turn to use the program.
